Terms of Service

Welcome to Little Lane Store! We specialise in renting special occasion wear for girls aged 1-8 years. Please review our terms of service to ensure a smooth rental experience.
1. Pricing and Rental Period
- Pricing: All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).
- Rental Duration: The rental period starts from the beginning date of your order and ends on the finish date specified.
2. Ownership and Use
- Ownership: All garments remain the property of Little Lane Store at all times. However whilst the garment is in your care you are responsible.
3. Rip & Stain Protection (Optional, but highly recommended)
- Coverage: For an additional $9 you can add Rip & Stain Protection to your order, this covers minor damage such as small stains and rips up to $160 NZD per item.
- Costs Beyond Coverage: If repairs exceed $160 NZD, you will be responsible for the additional cost. We may deduct these extra charges from your payment method!
4. Parcel Delays
- If your parcel does not arrive on time due to courier delays or being lost in transit, please highlight this to us right away, and we will issue a full refund once tracked from our end. Unfortunately, parcel delays are sometimes out of our control, but we acknowledge that they do happen, which is why we have a policy in place.
5. Late Returns
- Fees: If garments are not returned by the due date, additional rental fees of $15 per day will apply.
- Future Rentals: Late returns may affect future rentals and additional fees may be applied to cover any inconvenience.
6. Non-Return Policy
- Charges: If garments are not returned within 10 days after the due date, they will be considered "non-returned," and you will be charged 150% of the recommended retail price. This includes any late fees already paid.
- Ownership: If you have paid the 150% fee and still hold the item, it is considered yours, and no return is necessary.
7. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Items
- Liability: You are liable for the replacement cost if the item is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond repair. This includes damage due to negligence.
8. Courier Delivery and Signature Requirements
- Delivery Instructions: All deliveries are set to "Signature Required." If you choose to override this and the item is lost or damaged, you are responsible for the item from the start date of the rental period.
9. Replacement Value
- Determination: We will consider the dress's condition, current market demand, availability, and any rental or late fees already paid when determining replacement value.
10. Force Majeure
- Liability: Little Lane Store is not liable for failures to supply garments due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, or other emergencies.
11. Collection Procedures
- Outstanding Payments: Unpaid amounts may result in collection procedures. You agree to cover all collection costs, including legal fees and bank charges.
12. Inspection and Notification
- Upon Delivery: Inspect your garment upon delivery and notify us of any issues within four (4) hours via email at hannahrose.haimona@gmail.com.
